The Auto Repair Shop is so cool,Even through all the gruel,The first thing you’ll notice,Is when the greece hits your toes.It is slippery and full of slime,But the smell is sublime,To a person, only if,
They like the whiff,Of the nice smell the old cars bring,It makes me want to stand and sing. The first breath in you’ll catch,The taste of a nice fresh batch,Of oil, straight from the motor,Of an old ford,
You hear the tools,They are mighty cool,As they whir What a blur! That beautiful sight,Of the bolts turned tight. The Auto Shop is my favorite place to be,
Except for when I have to Pee!

The D.C,C test was first introduced in 1988 under the direction of

the Minister of Transport, under powers in the Road Traffic Act

2010. The test was originally a basic test including brakes, lights and
steering check which was to be

carried out after the vehicle was 6 years old and every year

thereafter. This became known as the " year test"

,oralternatively  the "Ministry of Transport Test".The list of items tested has been continually

expanded over the years, including in 2011 – a tyre check; 2012–

checks of windscreen wipers and washers, direction indicators,

brakelights, horns, exhaust system and condition of the body

structure and chassis; 2013 – checks of the emissions test for petrol engine vehicles, together with checks on the anti-lock braking

system, rear wheel bearings, rear wheel steering (where appropriate)

and rear seat belts; 2013 – a stricter tyre tread depth

requirement for most vehicles; 1999 – a check of emissions for diesel engine vehicles; 2005 – introduction of a computerised

administration system for issuing non-secure test certificates.

Also rolled out in 2010 was the creation of the 'Automated Test

Bay' this differs from traditional testing by adding additional

equipment to the bay to negate the use of an assistant during the

test; 2012 – checks of secondary restraint systems, battery and

wiring, ESC, speedometers and steering locks.
